A critical service being delivered by Victim Support Service (VSS) directly assists victims of family and domestic abuse to navigate legal matters regarding Intervention Orders and tenancy disputes.
Lawyers provide legal advice and represent women who need to apply for a private Intervention Order, vary a confirmed Order or terminate a tenancy agreement.
The service is statewide, and operates from the VSS network of metro and regional service centres. The WDVCAS team is located at the VSS office in Adelaide, next to the Court precinct, and provides outreach into the existing VSS regional offices when required.
Women can access the service from anywhere in South Australia by calling the Victim Helpdesk on 1800 VICTIM (1800 842846) or via the WDVCAS Referral Form.
