The story of five people who had been victims of sexual abuse as children, and had wiped out the memory of the abuse and consequently suffered from Dissociative Identity Disorder (D.I.D.). They came from different backgrounds but were all diagnosed with similar symptoms, and were encouraged to get together for group therapy. After sessions with a therapist, they formed their own group, and gave healing and support to each other for six years. 'The Gift' is the gift of healing
