VSS Borrowers Club

 

Membership

Membership of the VSS Borrowers' Club is free to all victims of crime, professionals working with victims and students.

 

 

How to Join

Please complete the membership registration form available in the Resource Centre or at the back of the Resource Centre brochure.

 

 

Maximum Number of Loans

    • TWO items may be borrowed at one time
    • for a maximum of THREE WEEKS

 

(for loan extensions, please ring and leave a message at Reception).

 


Items for Loan

A list of topics is available in the Resource Centre at 11 Halifax Street, as is information of the content of videos. The complete list of titles is on the Library Catalogue which can be accessed from this website by going to the 'Library Catalogue' tab.

 

 

Items Not for Loan

Items that are marked 'not for loan' are mainly in the following sections: Reference, Newsletters, Annual Reports, Conference Papers, Journals, Archives. These may be read in the Resource Centre but not taken out of the building.

 

 

How to Borrow

    • Find the borrower's card inside the back cover of the book
    • Write your name clearly under 'Borrower' and fill in the 'Due Date'
    • Put the card in the 'Borrowers' Cards' box
    • If you need a reminder, take a 'Due Date' slip, fill in the due date and use it as a bookmark
    • Return the items to the 'Returns' box

 

 

Leave a Message at Reception for the Librarian if you wish to

    • Extend a loan
    • Request a title that is on loan
    • Find more information

 

 

The Librarian may be consulted on Wednesdays.
